Importing / Exporting Address Books
Step 1: Export Address Books from Mail Client
Exporting from Outlook / Outlook Express
- In Outlook, click "File" in the main menu. Select "Export" and then "Address Book".
- Next select the file type you would like to export and click the "Export" button.
- Enter a name and save the file on your computer.
- Go to Step 2.
Exporting from Eudora
- The file you need to import is called 'NNdbase.txt' and it should be the the location where Eudora was installed.
- Go to "My Computer" and click on the "C" drive (or the approriate drive if different).
- Locate "Program Files" and find the "Eudora" directory.
- Go to Step 2.
Exporting from Netscape
- You need to click Communicator, Address Book, File, Export
- Change the Save in: to "Desktop"
- Change the File name: to "pab"
- Change the Save as type: to "Comma Separated (*.csv for Netscape 6 and earlier)" or
Save as (*.ldif or *.ldi for Netscape 7 or later). Then Click Save.
- Go to Step 2.
Step 2: Importing Address Books Into Webmail
- In webmail, browse for the file you exported.
- Select the approriate "Filetype".
- Enter a name for "Address Book to Import" and selected "Do Import".
